When shooting stock photos, it is typically for new areas in the workplace, be they for social use or more traditional working areas. Obviously, showing how the new area will be used is important and typically involves the use of willing volunteers. However, it can be useful to try to capture some slightly more abstract images, involving the details and textures that make up the overall design. These images can then be used in a variety of ways to support other collateral, such as providing blurred backgrounds that still retain the overall colour palette.
